SpendBuster Terms of Service

version 1.0, effective from 01 Nov 2025

1. Introduction

These terms govern the use of the SpendBuster service (the “Service”) operated by Zdeněk Šavlík – SpendBuster, ID 76633519, Březina 179, 338 24 Březina (the “Provider”). They define the rights and obligations between the Provider and any person using the Service (the “User”).

2. Service description

SpendBuster lets Users record, categorize, and analyse personal expenses and subscriptions. The Service is available as Free (no charge) and Premium (paid). The full feature list is shown in the Pricing section.

The Service does not provide financial or investment advice and makes no guarantees regarding how Users use the data in their decision making.

3. User account

Registration creates an account. An email address and country are required. Users must protect their credentials and are responsible for any misuse.

The Provider is not liable for data loss or damage caused by unauthorized access that results from User negligence (e.g. shared password).

The Provider may terminate an account without compensation if these terms are breached, especially when the Service is abused (fake accounts, automated bulk actions, harmful content, activities that disrupt functionality or security). If possible, the User will be notified by email.

4. Inactive accounts

The Provider may delete a user account that is long-term inactive and does not have an active Premium subscription, to optimise the Service and protect personal data. An account is considered inactive if no actions related to keeping financial records have been performed for 12 months.

The User will be informed about the planned deletion by email at least 14 days in advance.

Deleting the account results in loss of all stored data, except data that must be retained for legal reasons.

5. Premium membership

Premium membership is provided after payment according to the current price list. Activation unlocks extended features (exports, notifications, reports, etc.). Access starts when the payment is settled and lasts for the chosen period.

The Provider may offer Premium membership for a limited time free of charge (“Premium Trial”). During a Premium Trial, Users may see ads. A Premium Trial does not automatically convert into paid Premium after it ends.

6. Right of withdrawal

EU consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of activating Premium membership if the service has not been provided yet. By activating Premium before the end of the period the User agrees that the service is provided immediately and waives the right to withdraw.

7. Payment terms

Payments are processed by third-party gateways. The Provider does not store payment details. For payment issues or chargebacks contact info@spendbuster.com.

Comgate payment gateway

Online payments for SpendBuster are processed by Comgate, a.s.. SpendBuster does not store card details and does not share them with other parties.
